| New episode tonight! The Power of Burst Mode! |

 Sorry about not updating the next and last episode sooner. This week has been crazy. "The Battle With Belphemon" had a hand full (excuse the pun!) of expected edits. Miki and Megumi were drawn in this episode as having, quite... well. They were drawn with REALLY big boobs. For the dub, most of the scenes with maximum boobage were airbrushed over to extend their shirts and flatten their chests.
Here are a few new attack names from the last episode of Digimon Data Squad:
MirageGaogamon- Double Gale Claw
Ravemon- Spiral Raven Claw, Blast Wing, Bird King Sword, Celestial Blade
Oh, and by the way, Belphemon's non-Kurata voice was full of OWN. And his dialogue was fangasmic (I guess to make up for the lack of Miki/Megumi boobage that had to be covered up). Here's a few quotes from Belphemon:
"Those who cross me don't live to tell the tale!!"
"Taste judgement!!"
"You wretched fool! How dare you compare me to a lowly human. I am not Kurata! I am the deadly Digimon Belphemon and you shall feel my WRAAATH!!"
Speaking of awesome dialogue... Here's the dialogue when Agumon first hatches from his DigiEgg:
Marcus: Look Agumon. Everyone is tired, but they're still fighting. We're the only ones left that can do anything now. I have never felt so useless. AGUMON! I cant do this alone. I need you! Its fighting time, come on Agumon. Can't you feel it inside that lousy DigiEgg?
*Egg hatches. Koromon attaches to Marcus's face*
What are you doing Agumon? Huh? Who are you? You are not Agumon! ... You dont know me... I knew it. You forgot everything about me.
*Marcus begins to cry, and a few tears drop on Koromon's head*
Koromon: What are you talking about, huh boss? Hey boss, I'm hungry.
Marcus: You mean, that you remember who I am?
Koromon: Hey boss. You crying?
Marcus: No way, thats just sweat, it's just hot out here... I'll let you eat whatever you want a little later, but right now you and i have a fight to get to and we're late!
Koromon: That's great boss. Fighting time?
Marcus: Mm hmm!
And with that, don't forget to watch the new episode tonight if you get the channel. It's my favorite of the whole season, and I'm sure anyone who has seen the original would pretty much agree. |

| Awaken Belphemon notes... |

Awaken Belphemon aired a few days ago.. Check YouTube for the episode as always.
Belphemon's attacks are Lampranthus and Eternal Nightmare- in both modes. RookChessmon's attack is Rook Gatling and BishopChessmon's attack is Bishop Laser.
Can't wait for the next episode... One of my favorites! |

| Izzy vs Thomas? |

Kadmos raised the question to Jeff as to who was smarter- Izzy from Digimon Adventure or Thomas from Digimon Data Squad. Jeff picked "Izzy by far" and proclaims that he will tell us after the last episode.
Seems kind of odd to me to say that since Thomas is the one who graduated from university at the age of 13 and is able to operate and repair a huge machine that opens gates to the Digital World. Izzy had to rely on his Digivice and pineapple laptop for such acts. XD
Anyways, interesting to see what Jeff will have to say at the end of the series. |

Don't forget to catch Data Squad tonight. I'm having surgery today, so I will probably be in too much pain to update the current and next episode areas for a few days.

| Digivice Burst |

Seems they've done away with the "Air Signal"- the infrared port on the right side of the Digivice that scans your hand. |

| The Final Bio-Hybrid Battle! and last week review... |

I'm going to do a quick wrap up from last week's episode, "The Sacred City's Last Stand!" The biggest change was BioSpinomon was dubbed BioSupinomon. There has been a lot of outrage in the community over one letter. Let me once again remind everyone that Jeff Nimoy works on writing and directing, and when it comes to choosing a dub name, Toei/Bandai gets their first pick. Jeff can either decide to accept this, or take time from directing and writing dialogue to battle with Toei/Bandai over one letter for a Digimon that appears in one episode. Jeff explained this process when Toei/Bandai tried to change Duftmon to Lepermon. Leper is someone who has leprosy. Jeff took time to fight that for obvious reasons. It's little to no reason for him to fight Toei/Bandai for one or two letters when there are other areas of the show he would be working on. Yes, these names have their origins, but does one letter really change the entire show? Can you not enjoy a tv show just because of a small name mistranslation. If your answers are yes, then Digimon dubs are not for you, sorry. /rant
Other than that, BioSupinomon kept his attack Blue Prominence. Rosemon's new attack is Ivy Hug. The censors and airbrush people chose some weird locations to use their skills. Kouki was able to grab Marcus's face and slam him to the ground, yet Kouki punching Falcomon was covered up. Rosemon's cleavage and belly were airbrushed in a few scenes that I noticed, yet not in others.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable episode with excellent voice acting and writing, which is the main thing that matters.

The Data Squad screenshots page has been updated with shots for all episodes that have aired thus far. You can check those out here. There were a few episodes missing from way back when Savers first aired that I never got around to, but they're all up to date now.

| One more week... |

Still another week to go until our next new episode of Data Squad. In the mean time, I've added Yushima to the DATS page. I've also added Director Hashima and Dr Spencer Damon to the Other Characters page.
In addition, I've updated the video clips page with Digivolution scenes. Most, if not all of the clips are embedded from random YouTube members, so thanks to those who have uploaded the clips. After you view the clip, click on it and subscribe to the user as thanks! =) |
