Beautrix Holloway was content, for the moment. She was seated on her bed, just about to watch some television. Before she could, her older sister burst into the room, smiling. The younger girl didn't like her smile. It meant that Rosaline was up to something; she was planning on making Beautrix do something.

"What do you want, Rosaline?" Beau growled. Her older sister simply chuckled and grabbed her by the wrist saying, "You'll see, Beau." Of course Beau had known that she'd find out, but she'd wanted to know beforehand, not as it was happening. And, it was this little interaction with her sister that made her temper begin to rise for the day.

Only a few minutes later, Beau was seated, wearing a dress. She leas leaning back in the chair, glaring back at her sister for putting her in such a thing. Sure, she was still wearing her tanktop and shorts underneath the dress, but that was besides the point. It was the fact that she was in a dress period that was the problem.

~Gilabno~

Another world shares the same exact space as the earth, and yet, it has its own share of space to call home. The digital world, home of digimon, living their lives just as the humans and reyvateils do in the 'real' world. However, the digital world was just as real as the other realm. Rarely has this world been contacted from the other world, and each time it was not a willing procedure. As such, both humans and reyvateils from the real world have entered, never returning to their homeland. So, whenever one did enter the digital world, it was a strange and interesting sight to the digimon. Some of course were hostile, killing a few of these visitors due to their own, sudden hatred. However, there were also those digimon that had no problem with the differences between themselves and these visitors from another world. One village in the plains has shown this, Bari Lavuta Village, known as the village of entertainers.

Sitting on a rock on a small hilltop was a young, teenage boy. He was one of the uncommon male reyvateils, who has lived the latter seven of his fifteen years of life in Bari Lavuta Village. Though not a digimon, he fit in quite well with the residents of this village, using his gift of singing that all reyvateils shared, no matter what kind of reyvateil he or she was. After all, this village of entertainers had a mix of shows to entertain others. Having asked for a little privacy to do so, despite being reluctant to ask at first, the boy had wanted to practice his singing for a little while. It wasn't the entire song, since he felt that taking too long would anger his foster father. Sighing a little, the teenage boy began to sing:

"Amakami o kakemau tama sasayaki yueba
Kanmuribi furi michite nanihito yuki orinase
Samidare no aimi o tada nagaruru koe wa
Utsurohi sakanagi oboroge na furusato no ne
Kanade narifuku gaia sora ni hibiki ainaseba
Tobekaku inori no uta matohite..."

He stopped though, having heard someone call his name. Jumping a little in surprise, the reyvateil turned around, and saw a Leomon, his foster father Fonso. It apparently was time to get going, especially since it took quite a bit of time to help cook the meals for the village today. As he was technically part of the village, this boy, Tomonari, was required to help out with various things. However, despite being adopted, he was able to keep his full name of Tomonari Joshua Kahal. But due to the energetic nature, and creativity, of the village, he was given the nickname Gilabno. It was a fitting one after all, due to his talent. "I-I'm sorry Papa! I-I'll be right there!", Tomonari called back in response, and then quick stood up. He nearly tripped over while doing so, which would then have caused a little time to be wasted. Putting his single strapped bag around his shoulders, Tomonari shuddered in pain a little. His installer port was on his right shoulder, where he had rested part of his bag. Ignoring this for now, he quickly rushed down the hill, hoping to not anger his foster father.

~Romni~

"Luludja." A dark haired woman turned to see a small boy smiling at her, having just called her name. They both shared dark skin and hair. She returned his smile with one of her own, kneeling to be at eye-level with the boy. Her dark eyes stared into the boy's light emerald-colored ones.

"Yes? What is it?" The boy pulled out a few coins, looking proudly from them to Luludja's face. "Pali," she gasped, "where did you get those!" Pali was reluctant to answer the woman, seeing as she was at least twenty years older than himself; she was a sort of authority figure.

Without receiving a straight answer, Luludja sighed. "Choribe." The boy looked to the ground, disappointed with Lulujda's reaction. She let out a sigh, looking out from where she stood in the small building some of the Romani were staying in. In a few days' time, they'd be moving on to the next area. Entertaining was what most of her troupe knew; Luludja Simza may have easily been one of the only ones to go and actually acquire an education at some point. It was where she'd learned the English language.

~Foolish Drunkard~

Quite often was a countryside thought of as a peaceful scenario, people going on with their own business, greeting those that they came across. The countryside in Sweden was no exception. It was particularly cold that evening, not that the people of this country had no means to get through this weather. Not once had it been a tropical paradise of any sort, the weather being the blame for it all. However, this was the home of these people, and so they didn't complain. The only thing was that there was still some noise the area, though it was all confined to a tavern more or less in the middle of nowhere. One tavern goer in particular was the cause of most of the ruckus there, and the voices weren't exactly joyful ones either. Sooner or later, the tavern door busted open, and a large, fat man was thrown out into the snow, being shouted from inside to not come back. Well, that was at least for a little while.

Slowly getting up on his behind, the man shook his head furiously, trying to make sense of what was going on. Of course, he had usual amount of alcohol, which was to the point where he was drunk. Though this time, he wasn't to this point yet. His fat hand wiped the snow off of his face, and he unknowingly shifted his mustache around. The man casually ran his hand through his blonde, bushy hair, really just to dust off any excess snow. His brown eyes shifted to look around the area, not that there would be anything of interest. Getting himself to stand, the man wobbled a little, the effects of the alcohol kicking in, "Oi, I could've drunk a little more! No hard feelings from the boys I hope, but I probably have somethin' at home.." It was an hour walk from here to his home, and it was surprising how he wasn't slimmer than he looked already. Luckily, this man wasn't obese, so he could still walk. Bending down, he picked up his walking stick, and after wobbling a little more, began to head out.

It was the end of his typical day pretty much, this Swedish man, Bjorn Vendel, thinking nothing of his future except to work during the day, and drink afterwards. His drinking habits were why the thirty three year old man couldn't keept up a stable relationship, his only marriage having lasted for only two years. Bjorn tended to keep his past behind him, seeing it as a waste of energy and troublesome. But then again, what exactly had he accomplished during his life? The answer was a simple one, nothing. This hairy man only looked for entertainment in his life, ignoring all the troubles the the world threw at him. Of course, his solution to everything was drinking, and it was surprising how he lasted this long without any lethal effects in his body. Keeping nothing on his mind except for the next day to come, the hairy man kept on walking through the snow, thinking nothing of any changes in his life. However, Bjorn was born for a purpose, wasn't he?

Here is the first chapter of the fic, and to be honest, I rushed it somewhat. :/

~Chapter 1: The Transfer of Odd~

Her mood was not enjoyable today, that was for sure. Being forced to put on a dress, and then get a random photo shoot? Definately not the kind of fun that Beau imagined, rather, that wasn't fun at all. Especially since she was forced into a few more outfits, and in her eyes, more torture. Why she even allowed her sister to do these things to her was unknown. Beau sighed, and in her left hand, she held a nice, purple stress ball. Suddenly though, the girl began to furiously squeeze it repeatedly, getting off some rage on the poor, defenseless, inanimate object. She could have just screamed loudly for a while, if it wasn't for the fact that her family would think of her as a raving lunatic. In any case, the whole dress ordeal was yesterday, and Beau finally relaxed. Setting the stress ball down on her desk, she sat in her chair, and stared at the computer. "Maybe I should just find something random on the internet.", the girl thought to herself.

Without further hesitation, Beau typed something with her keyboard, and then hit the 'search' button. Since she was in her room, nobody would unexpectedly jump next to her and inquistively ask what Beau was looking at. However, someone would still take advantage of the quiet moment and barge through the door with some random nonsense directed at Beau. Hopefully nobody would, as that would just ruin her mood more than it already was. Knowing her family though, someone would just barge right on in. The girl began to click through and read various web pages, most of them of no interest to her. On one of them, however, she was greeted with a pop up ad. A scowl appeared on her face, and Beau promptly exited out of the ad. Returning to her previous, random task, she went through the page she was on. A few moments later though, the same pop ad returned. She actually saw what was on it though, and it was filled with strange symbols. Rolling her eyes, Beau exited both the ad, and her internet browser.

Turning around to find something else to do, the familiar noise of the pop up ad turned up again. It was then greeted with an irritated Beau, "Really? REALLY?! I'm going to break this stupid thi--" She stopped, as the ad now began to glow a weird light. Soon, the light extended to the entire computer screen, and a portal had appeared on it. The portal then used a great amount of force, and started to suck Beau into it, "Wait a minute, what's happening?! AAAH!" With a flash of light, the girl was now gone, having been sucked into the now normal looking computer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Normally, someone would be aggravated by the thought of having to work late for any job. There were a few exceptions to that rule, Bjorn being one of them. He worked at the local dive shop, helping out anyone that need to go into a reyvateil's cosmosphere. All he had to do was set it up and get it working, which required almost no effort. Then again, the man did know what he was doing, having worked here for a few years. It was empty for now, and luckily for him, he was allowed to sneak in a few sips of alcohol here and there. One of the few things he worried about was getting fired, considering that even Bjorn knew that having no money wasn't a good thing. Especially since that meant no more alcohol for him to buy. The Swedish man sat in his chair, and waited patiently for someone to eventually come in through the door. The downside of working here, was having the machinery not used at all. Doing something was better than nothing after all.

As mean as it might have seemed though, Bjorn didn't care for whether or not a reyvateil would allow someone to go into her, or in special cases, his cosmosphere. Relationships weren't something he was big on, and had no interest in fixing someone's life. Problems like that aside, he simply looked around the place, wondering why so many wires and tubes were needed for this. Shaking that thought out of his head, Bjorn would only have given himself a headache as to the workings of this machine. The quiet room didn't remain quiet for much longer, as the control panel behind him glowed and beeped a few times. Raising an eyebrow, Bjorn turned around in a confused manner, "What the.... I didn't turn it on!" The man, as much as he didn't want to, got out of his chair, and took a few steps towards it. Pressing a specific button a few times, it was supposed to turn it off, but the panel kept on glowing.

"Now this is odd. This thing just had maintenance a few days ago.", Bjorn said out loud, knowing fully well that nobody would hear him. After the panel beeped a few more times, a spark of electricity acted up on the tower of tubes and wires in front of the overweight man. Looking up at it, he just started dumbfounded at what was going on, and out of nowhere, a portal of sorts appeared on the tubes. Before he said anything, the portal sucked the man in with a flash of light, and then, nobody was standing there. The portal had disappeared, and the control panel returned to its off position.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tonight was a sleepless night for Lulu, having worried about the condition of her troupe and what not. She has experienced this a couple times before, so it wasn't new to her. Besides, the things she thought about were important, especially since aside from being gypsys, the group was a mix of humans a couple reyvateils. Having been one of the lucky ones with some sort of education, Lulu brought it upon herself to take care of each person's specific needs, unless said person was fine on his or her own. What worried her the most though, was having found out Pali had stolen money from someone, even worse that Lulu didn't know who the money belonged to. The woman knew fully well that gypsys were known as thieves, but her troupe had never stolen money, and didn't want them to start now. Still, Lulu took pride in what she was doing, and although she had doubted at one point the worth of remaining here, it was her family and home.

A bit of fresh air would ease her worry, and so Lulu decided to talk a step out onto the small balcony that the building had. The building was more or less abandoned, and it was nightfall by the time the troupe had arrived here. Staring out into the distance, Lulu breathed in slowly, and then released a breath of air. It was rather chilly outside, but she could manage that. From what the woman could remember, she had been here before during a past travel, but couldn't remember much of it. Lulu had been to far too many places to remember each and every one, though it clicked once a few things came her way. The specific memory had started to become clear, one from her younger days. She was in her mid teens at the time, and the night was just as cold as this one. Her blanket had been lost, and Lulu had to sleep without one that night. However, one of the kinder people with them had offered her their own, which filled Lulu with joy. Now in the present, a small smirk appeared on the woman's face, and despite the rumors about gypsys, knew the kind hearts they all had.

Returning back inside the building, Lulu stopped for a moment. She had spotted an odd light in an empty room, the rest of the troupe were sleeping downstairs, and looked around for a moment. Nobody else was there, as far as she knew, and fearing the safety of everyone, Lulu walked over to the entrance of the room. Her head turned to scan the room, and her dark eyes came upon a ball of light. Curious as to what it was, she cautiously stepped towards it. Lulu stopped in her tracks though, as the ball of light suddenly turned into a portal. Eyes widening in surprise, Lulu loudly said, "What on earth-", but was cut off. A flash of light had occurred, and within no time at all, the portal and woman had vanished.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her eyes slowly opened up, and an aggravated moan came from her mouth. Rubbing her eyes, Beau sat up, and took a peek at where she was. A vast plain, definetely not what she was used to, was around her, and it bothered the girl. "Huh, I did want a vacation, but this is not what I would call a paradise..", she muttered to herself. The teenager's head turned to see what was in store, until her eyes caught sight of two adults. One was a fat man, and the other, a dark skinned woman. Seeing as Beau was lost right now, she decided that it was best to see what was going on. Walking up to them, Beau said, "Hey! What's going on here?!" Her mood was irritable, and her tone showed it.

He thought it somewhat lucky that he found this woman, Lulu, as Bjorn was just as confused as any of the three people there. The man had his walking stick out, really for no reason at all, happy that it came along with him. It was then that he heard another girl's voice. Turning to see what the ruckus was, Bjorn, with a not so serious smirk, replied to her, "Well now, I don't think that yelling will help us, since neither of us do know what's going on." It was the simplest answer, and in all honesty, Bjorn partially didn't care where they were. This place intrigued him, as although it looked as if they were still on earth, something was different about this place.

This was rather awkward for her, coming to a strange place such as this, but didn't mind the open fields. Lulu was used to the natural environment, so she would comfortable with that. However, Bjorn wasn't on her good side. She didn't like him that much, though hadn't been too troubling so far. It was the smell of alcohol though that was the first obvious thing that came to her. Sighing, Lulu turned to see a rather loud girl, much younger than either of the adults, and before she could say anything, Bjorn had spoken up. Letting him respond, the woman had decided to thrown in her own thing, "For now, I think it might be best if we stick together, since none of us are familiar with this place. Now let's see.." The woman turned her head to look around, and since she didn't know where to go, decided in a random direction, as much as she didn't want to.

The three of them, rather Beau was reluctant to go at all, had walked off into the plains, being cautious of what was there. Nothing abnormal had happened yet, but perhaps they were being too hasty with their actions. However, they did have an excuse, being trapped in some crazy light show and being transported somewhere else.

In the distance though, after the plains had become more flat, a boy was on both knees over a tub of water. Tomonari had decided that it was time to wash his clothes, and due to the few trees that were there, he could hang them up to dry. At the moment, he was shirtless, much to his displeasure, and was busy washing his dark blue coat. Pausing for a moment, he reached his left had to behind his right shoulder, rubbing his installer port for a moment. It was actually in the shape of a lion's head, with the mouth open, that mouth opening was where certain crystals could be inserted into his body. Tomonari disliked reminding himself of the pain involved in life extending agents, though he had no real choice. He went back to washing his coat, and for a moment, forgot he was still alone. The knowledge that he was still nearby his village helped quite a bit as well. He stood up after a while, and hung up his trench coat on the line he set up. The male reyvateil then looked at his light blue, long sleeved shirt, wondering if it was dry.

Having followed the two weird adults for quite some time, Beau was becoming irritated. "This is getting us nowhere..", she thought to herself, and turned her head as the trio walked on. In time though, she saw someone up ahead. The person in sight was human, and as they got closer to it, Beau had seen the person's back. She saw the odd tattoo, and from the looks of it, an installer port, on the person's back, and knew the person was a reyvateil. At first though, Beau thought the reyvateil was a girl, but no matte what, she quickly walked up behind the person, ignoring Bjorn and Lulu, and said, "Hey you! Where the heck are we?!" The person had jumped and spun around, and it become known that this reyvateil was a boy.

Tomonari had dried his hands, and after feeling his shirt, found out that it was dry. Taking it down from the line, another's voice had came out of nowhere, and it was right behind him. Jumping in fear in response, the teenager turned around in shock and shouted at that same time, "AAaah!" It was a rather loud yell, possibly enough for somwhere in the village to hear. He was shaking a little now, and holding onto his shirt tightly, didn't know what to respond. Tomonari gulped, seeing the angered expression on the girl's face, "U-U-um........ well..." He wasn't sure what to do in this situation, espcially due to one crucial detail- these people were humans, who Tomonari has not encountered for seven years.

Lulu and Bjorn were next to them, having decided to stay out of this little mood that Beau had on her. However, it was too suspcious, and the scream that Tomonari had made attracted the wrong attention. At least, for the three humans. A roar had echoed in the group's direction, and it wasn't long before something else had shown up. One that was definately odd for Beau, Bjorn, and Lulu. A large, muscular, bipedal lion had rushed to the scene, and the three humans had stepped back in surprise. The lion was not happy, and standing at his full, massive height, separated the lone reyvateil from the three humans. "Who the hell are you, and what have you done to my son?!", the beast snarled, wanting a direct answer now, and not later. Becoming irritated by how long the answer took, the lion reached his left hand to the sword on waist, and began to pull it out, "How many times must I say it?! ANSWER ME!"

Just in time, another voice had called out to them. This time, it was also demanding, but had an older, wiser voice, "Fonso! That's enough, sheath your sword." The lion man had hesitated, but listened to the voice. In view came a much shorter creature, whose face was covered with gray hair, and had a strange staff. This was a Jijimon, and the chief of the nearby village. "Please forgive Fonso, he was merely protecting the boy.", the creature said to the three humans. After examining them for a few moments, the Jijimon knew that these three were not familiar with this world. Nodding to himself, it continued, "Please, come with me so we can get this all settled." Turning to the teenage boy, the Jijimon said, "Gilabno, come to my hut after you've checked in with your father." With that, the old man looking creature had given a motion for Beau, Bjorn, and Lulu to follow him.

As strange as this whole set up was, namely the lion man and old looking creature, the three humans decided it was best to do as they were told. The male reyvateil had quickly put his light blue shirt on, and afterwards, began talking to the lion man. A strange turn of events this was, but hopefully, everything would be explained.

Second chapter. Which, I just realized I never thought of a title for. Oops.

~Chapter Two~

The trio sat around a small fire. The old-looking creature was on the other side, accompanied by Fonso and Tomonari. Beau had her arms folded across her chest, staring at the Leomon, who was staring right back at her. This had, in Beau’s mind, initiated a staring contest, and she refused to be the one to lose.

Lulu was looking to the old creature, reminded of the elders in her caravan. She was willing to wait for him to speak, certain that the creature had some sort of information that would be useful to the three who’d appeared. She gave a small glance to the younger girl, seeing she was focused on staring, and then looked to Bjorn. The man was watching the fire lazily, just waiting to hear what would be said to them.

“I’m sure you are wondering why you’re here,” the Jijimon spoke. “I would tell you with certainty if I could. You see, this world has seen your kind before. Every once in a while, you humans, or reyvateils, end up here for one reason or another. It’s rather random, honestly.”

“But why us?” Beau grumped. Lulu nodded. Bjorn was still staring at the fire. Lulu thought to tap him, to make sure he wasn’t falling asleep or something, but, it wasn’t something she really cared to do. After all, she didn’t like the guy much. He could miss out on information. He probably would pay as much attention awake as asleep.

“Didn’t you just hear Cuinn say it’s random?” Fonso remarked. Beau scowled.

“Anyway,” Cuinn sighed, “an even more pressing matter is for you to know just where it is you are, and to find you appropriate accommodations. You are in the village of Bari Lavuta. Tomonari and Fonso, here, shall be the ones to show you around the village, find a place for you all to stay, and teach you some of our ways. Won’t you two?”

The Leomon agreed to it for the two of them, only because it was Cuinn who’d said it. The corners of his mouth dipped downward as he agreed, but knew he’d fulfill his agreement anyway. Tomonari, who’d been quiet the entire time, looked upset about having to show the humans around.

“Thank you,” Lulu smiled, feeling that neither of the other two would be thanking these natives for their kindness. One hadn’t even been listening, and the other just seemed far too stubborn to do so.

Beau blinked. As she did, she let out an aggravated sound, which woke Bjorn and startled Lulu.

“Why did you do that?”

“I lost,” Beau growled, looking to Bjorn. He didn’t seem happy, but Beau didn’t really care. She’d just lost the staring contest. Fonso gave a sly smile, getting up from his place and then looking to Tomonari, instructing the boy to stand as well. The three humans mimicked them, getting to their feet. Cuinn said a few words to Fonso, then gestured for Fonso and company to leave.

“Come with me,” the Leomon huffed, leading the way out of Cuinn’s living space, followed closely by Tomonari. Beau was the next one out, then Lulu, and Bjorn bringing up the rear. They were shown about, all the various areas pointed out to them. It wasn’t long before the trio were directed to a small hut; clearly it was to be where they were to stay.

“We’re staying here?” Beau began, but was cut off by Lulu raising a hand up, signaling for her to be silent.

“This is a fine place. Thank you,” the woman said, smiling to the Leomon and the reyvateil. She didn’t really wait for any recognition from either, moving into the open doorway of the hut and moving about inside.

Bjorn stared at Lulu, watching as she seemed ever-so-pleased with the hut. He didn’t quite understand it. It was a hut. Though, it was a nicer place to stay than simply outdoors, with no sort of protection what-so-ever. For that, he was thankful. He just wasn’t overjoyed about having to share the space with the woman and the girl.

“Hurry in and choose your place,” Lulu called from inside the hut. Bjorn entered, and a silent Beau followed after, giving one more glance to Fonso and Tomonari. She wondered if it would be for the best to try and get along with them. But, she just couldn’t. Not with how they’d started off on the wrong foot already.

“You,” Lulu stated, pointing to Bjorn, “will sleep on that side. I will sleep here. And you,” she looked to Beau, “will sleep there.” Beau looked to her designated spot, to Lulu, and then frowned.

“Who put you in charge?”

“You’re younger. You gotta listen to your elders,” Bjorn replied, seating himself in his area. He didn’t care where it was he slept. As long as he got to do so. “You’ll sleep there.”

“You aren’t in charge of me!” Beau growled, clenching her hands into fists. Lulu looked alarmed, talking quietly and trying to calm the girl down.

“I was just dividing up the hut. It’s what I used to do in my caravan; I was always put in charge of a group of children.” Her words didn’t really get through to Beau, at least not at the moment, but after winding up in a strange place and two complete strangers, the exhaustion of it all was finally setting in. Beau seated herself on the ground where she’d been told she was to sleep.
