My sign-up is going to be a bit different from everyone else’s. Ice and I have discussed this at length, and I have permission to play this character.

Name: Gartlinn-Esthlor-Nargoth

Age: 4 (Andalites age differently; he is the equivalent of a teenager)
Sex: Male

Personality: Unlike most Andalites, Gar is pretty open to dealing with new species. He is very inquisitive, but he is careful not to let that be his downfall. New information sometimes poses a threat of sending him into the realm of overexcitement, but he tries to moderate his reactions and be careful not to let himself lose sight of what’s going on around him. In a group, be it Andalite or human, he will inevitably hang back for a while until he feels comfortable enough with everyone to interact to the fullest. He’s not standoffish, just quiet, and he does enjoy being around others. He’s not as automatically distrustful as he could be, but he isn’t remarkably open, either.

Gar isn’t quite as rigid and militarily formal as he should be. This has led him to be brought up on various minor discipline infractions at times, but it hasn’t caused him any major problems. He isn’t quite as rigidly swept up in ideas of idealistic honor as might be expected of an artish, and he is more concerned with doing what needs to be done. His reasoning is that at times, it pays more to be practical than to slavishly adhere to rules. One of his favorite pastimes is looking at rules and figuring out creative ways to bend them without completely breaking them. This ultimately stems from a desire to protect his own rear end.

Like most Andalites, Gar is slightly claustrophobic and has a distinct dislike of being underground. He is most at ease outdoors and isn’t super-comfortable with being indoors unless the weather is bad.

History: Gar is an Andalite artish, a warrior-cadet. He has not been in the military for a very long time, and his ultimate wish is a transfer from being a general artish to one specializing in espionage and infiltration. This has resulted in his putting more importance on the Andalite morphing technology than he would other, more “honorable” Andalite means of fighting, such as tail-fighting or flying fighter craft.

Gar once served aboard the Dome Ship GalaxyTree, but the ship was destroyed in a space battle with the Yeerks. Owing to his complete (and somewhat shameful) ineptitude as a combat pilot and status as an artish, Gar was in the dome part of the ship, not participating in the battle. When the GalaxyTree was destroyed, the dome fell into Earth’s oceans. As far as he knows, he is the only survivor. Fearing that the Yeerks would find him and that the dome might not remain intact for long, Gar salvaged what he could and, using his ability to morph, headed for the surface, hoping to set himself up in a safer environment than a dome at the bottom of the sea.

Appearance: As an Andalite, he has a centaur-like appearance and is covered in blue-and-tan fur. His upper arms are relatively small and weak, and he has six fingers and one thumb on each hand. He has no mouth, only three vertical slits where both the nose and mouth would be, two pointed ears, and four green eyes—two main eyes that are where a human’s eyes would be, and two more eyes mounted on flexible stalks atop his head. These can swivel in any direction, giving Gar a 360 degree range of vision. His lower body resembles that of a small deer, save for his tail, which resembles a scorpion’s.

In human morph, he stands 5'6" and is slightly underweight and rather gangly-looking. He has very curly dark brown hair, which is worn short, especially when compared to other members of the group. He has light skin and light blue eyes. His facial features are open and innocent-looking, but fairly plain and nothing special. He's a little babyfaced. His clothing varies depending on what he is given or can find and on his ability to identify which part of the body it should be worn upon.

How familiar are you with Pokemon? Quite familiar; been playing since the days of R/B/Y.
How familiar are you with Animorphs? I read every book as they came out back in the day; started reading the series when the only two books out were the first and second. It was one of by biggest obsessions as a kid, so I’m pretty darn familiar with it.
Do you prefer to write in first person or third person? In this case, I’m going first person.

Age:  16

Sex: Male

Personality: Fen is a happy and peaceful person, and prefers to avoid fighting. He can usually be found smiling merrily or flirting hopelessly with his female friends. He believes in mercy and is willing to love and help most people who come his way. Fen likes to  consider himself an honorable man and tries to adhere to a strong moral code.

History: He’s the oldest of four children, and the only boy. His sister Hil was born after him, by only two years, and the twins, Brianna and Arren two years after Hil.

Appearance: Fen has long and flowing golden brown hair that falls down to his shoulders in wild fashion. He has bright blue eyes and light Caucasian skin. He’s usually adorned in black jeans tied up by a black leather belt. He wears black and white converse on his feet with black socks under them. On his chest he wears a long-sleeve gray shirt with a black T-Shirt over it. He also keeps black leather gloves on his hands. He’s a bit tall for his age, about six foot two (6’ 2”). He weighs about one hundred and ninety pounds (190 lbs) and keeps a firm and strong build.

Personality: Elliot is secluded, and tends to keep to himself. He doesn't really have anyone that he calls his friend, and tends to be picked on and bullied constantly. This is mostly due to his weak stature and his prone to sickness.
History: Elliot is an only child, due to his parents' fear of having another sickly child to care for. When he was in the 5th grade, his parents left him with his grandfather and never returned. Neither he or his grandfather know of their whereabouts.
Appearance: Elliot is around 5'6'' and weighs about 102 lbs. He has long black hair, which he usually keeps in a ponytail, and tends to where black/white t-shirts, bluejeans, and a brown jacket. He also has fair skin and grey eyes.

Kaizer, I'd probably be okay with a nothlit, depending on how many players that we get. If we can hit six or seven I'd be fine with it, just so that we have a good balance of humans to trapped human. If it does happen, I'd like to hold off on it for a few plots. I know it happens real fast in the books, and I'm planning to spice up the RP and avoid some of the start up that we saw in the books.

Just a quick question about your sign up: When you say long black hair, about how long do you mean? I have a biased view of length XD

Hmm... I considered it for a bit, and have decided to accept you. I'm glad that you're excited about the concept. I promise you it should be enjoyable :3

Now... You said that you would prefer third person, and I'm cool with that; however, I'm wondering if you'd be willing to try and give first person a chance? I want you to be comfortable, of course, but I wasn't crazy about first person when I started this and I love it now . Plus, the introductions lend themselves well to first person. We do it book style! So, would you want to try it out? You could always switch to third if you don't like it. And if you don't want to try it, that's fine too. Whatever you want works. I just think doing first person keeps the feel of the books in tact ^_^

So we've got five players now. That's great! But could we do better =O We have five players and five male characters. Maybe we could get a daring player to sign up as a female? :3

Awesome. I think you'll enjoy first person, and like I said, if you don't, you can switch. I don't want you to be uncomfortable.

And thanks for the offer, but I think if I let anyone double up it would be Airdra, since she doesn't have a human character yet (and technically, I've got two characters already... XD). Besides, writing in first person and having two characters can get... tricky. Haha.

So I guess we'll see what happens in the future and how the plot goes. I'd like girls, but not desperately enough to have people double up yet. I'd much rather have a sixth person fill that spot at this point. ^^'

(And that's not saying I'll only take girl characters. If you want to join and really want to play a dude, then by all means, play a dude!)

Hi all. I swung by this site because I was interested in a pokemon/animorphs RP, and decided I'd try an already existant one instead of starting one on the site I normally frequent. I'll fill out the thing, and if anyone has any problems than just say so.
