Aw. :[ I remember my first time I came across the Digiport [which was on Google]. I think the Bandai CCG forum had been closed down and I'd heard of these forums and the site, so I registered on here. Haha, I remember reading the "Obsessed" thing about Digimon and laughing at few I knew I did occasionally.

At least the forums are still up, but I'll miss the site too. :[ Hope moving will be alright and I'm happy that you'll still be hanging around. Thanks for everything, TKT. :]

We haven't really communicated in my time here, and that is something I honestly regret.  Thank you so much for all the work you've put into this place, this community, and this fandom.

You are embarking on a new chapter of your life, so I say- enjoy it!  And, if such a thing as Karma exists, I think the responses so far show that your life will be a blessed one.

Peace be with you, and please don't be a stranger.

Let us all hold hands and sing.

And the land is dark,
And the moon is the only light we'll see.

TDP shutting down?!TKT LEAVING?! say it ain't so...

I remember finding this place (more specific TDP) through another digimon site called Digimon village a few years back, and spent time reading the different pages and the fanfics posted on the forums by everyone.

I registered posting my own story, and starting Rping as well as getting to know various people through them auch as Chou, Ironman(L), 64, KoH (he is definitely going to be bummed about this) and many more who have left.

TKT as many said before me....We will miss you as much as we will miss TDP
Hope your move goes well, and Thankyou for everything you ever did and thought about doing for the site. I honestly doubt I'll find another site as good as this one (especially trying to find another digimon site like it) if not accurate information, guess it's time for me to search around again...bleh

*slaps TKT on the back* Good luck! and please visit!

I've spent some time contemplating what to say. It's not like you're leaving us, you'll still be around. But at the same time I can't help but feel...saddened by the loss of TheDigiPort.

So...

It's funny, people spend their entire lives trying to find a way to live on. To leave their mark in this world which puts its value on sex, violence and drugs. Yet you, at the age of 13, began something that would span 8 years of your life. You began something that would touch the lives of thousands! All the while keeping true to the very reason you started all this: Digimon.

Looking back, we won't remember the layouts, or the fun little sections, or even the information on the site. No. We'll remember the Passion of one TKTakeru. A passion that has spanned 8 years, a passion that even now, still burns as vigorously as it did all those years ago. It wasn't the pretty colors of the site that attracted us here, it was the world that you created. The Site, The forums, this is the world that you built to show your love of digimon. A world that allowed us to enter and express ourselves freely. A world that allowed us to share our love for Digimon as well. That's what we'll remember. Your dedication. Your Hardwork. Your Passion.

I wish I had something bigger for the "Thank you" but simple is better, at least in this case:

Thank you for all that you've done, and everything that you will do TKT.

I can't believe the only remaining best Digimon site is now closing down. Such a sad time indeed... but its memory will live on in the Forums I'm sure. Digimon sites are hard enough to find, trust me, let alone Forums. It's understandable that you need the money though TK, I hope that wherever you move to is worth it. ;)

I don't want to go into a huge tearful rant, so thank you. For making such a legacy.

One that I could return to and say, "Wow, I missed this place and never really realised it." So here I am, and hopefully, here I'll stay. On another extra note...

A special thanks stretches out to Celebi for willing to host the Forums and keep this place afloat, rather than diving into the digital depths to be lost forever. Thanks Celebi.

Hope to see you still hanging around TK, but for now, I guess this is farewell.

Well, TDP goes the way of the site it shamelessly ripped off TDE.

... What? I'm Machina-fucking-Kyrios. I have to take one last playful stab at Not-Raidix. Enough teary-eyed crap!

Although...

I will still be around the forums. I will still be apart of the community.

Don't you mean you'll start being around the forums and part of the community? There're newbies who registered today who've logged more forum time on here than you.

Though I joke, TK, we will miss TDP. I know I will. I won't miss accidentally stumbling across the furry porn you kept on the webspace when I typoed a URL, but I'll miss TDP. You're a great admin, and over these years you've built a site that became a true successor to TDE's legacy. Complete with the furry porn.

YES, BITCHES, I SAID IT TWICE!! You see, TK Takeru is an innovator! Not content to be the furfag those who came before him were, he pressed on and became a NEW, UNIQUE FURFAG.

Alright, all stabs aside, you're great, TK. You always will be.

You grasped everything Raidix knew, and you've left behind a strong community because of it. The way you handled yourself during the clusterfuck two years ago is proof enough that you are, have been, and will continue to be a good administrator. That's right, will continue to be.

The days of the TDP website may be gone, but like TDE, it'll stick around.

You've joined the ranks of Raidix, mate.

Have some congratulatory tentacle hentai. (18+)

Aww.. Well, I remember when I stumbled upon The Digiport. I was looking for a good Digi-Dex, googled it and found it, the very first result. I loved the Digi-Dex, I'm so going to miss it. Honestly, I didn't even know there was a forum until later on.. xD

Good times, I wish you the best of luck, TK..

Waaa! I remember coming across it in 2006. I remeber setting it as my homepage, but now other people use the computer. And the most vivid memory is checking it to see if the screenshots for digimon savers episode 12 was up at my Dad's work. Good times.

Waaa! Then like Matsu I didn't even realise there was a forum until 2007.

The page I visited the most and the page that will always be number one. The Digital Dive Forums. Although I rarely post anything here but I visit this site frequently. Yeah, so much for it's website which is now closing... The Digiport. I visit there when I don't have a clue for some Digimon, and the digidex always be there to help me... a lot. Please make sure you'll return, TK. Good luck. You'll be missed just as your great website, The Digiport.

I found TheDigiPort about seven years ago, back when the cable car (the car/bus in the second episode of Digimon Adventure) was a welcome page to the main site. I spent most of my time while on the internet on The Digiport. The Digidex introduced me to more Digimon than I ever imagined. Admittedly, I seldom visit this site anymore, so I was confused when I was redirected the Digital Dive Forum.  I have to say that this forum was my first true online community experience. It was here where I realized that the use of capitalization, grammar, and all that jazz on forums makes a huge difference in taking someone seriously. I reached the mega level with my previous username; Digidestind. My most memorable thread that I created was one in which members posted pictures of themselves. To my surprise, it was quite popular.

Thank you TK, you gave us the one true Digiport into the Digital World.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Okay. Really. Thanks, now. I found TDP back in 2001. Really! I can't believe this. And amazingly, I joined the forums like... 6 years after... Anyhow, at least this forum will be up. I'll miss TKT for being one of the nicest admins. I have seen forums die, like Shinobi-Inn and now even it's website is down. >< So... Yeah, I guess it's becoming normal. But it's sad.

TDP is so useful. It has like the best DigiDex ever!

If all else fails, hit them with nostalgia:

(Even the '02 version looks better than some of the other sites I've seen...)
