As some of you might know I don't have Toon Disney anymore , because my parents switched to cheap cable that only has twenty channels.

Anyway I was thinking of getting a job this fall so I could restore my precious Toon Disney, but I don't know if I want to spend half my friggin money on a Satelite/Digital Cable bill. I mean I have a girlfriend who likes to do nice and rather expensive things.

So to those who saw Savers is it really that good (you know a can't miss Digimon event for the ages)? I have seen the first ten episodes and they look pretty darn good!

I'm willing to bet it will get uploaded on YouTube within two days after an episode premier. Be a sweetie and save your money for your girlfriend, Toon Disney isn't worth it. Tongue

I agree with Gordo. TK has plans for uploading it, and I'm sure many other fans do too. Bonus, no commercials and greater convenience.

Does spending money your girlfriend (or whatever else you may spend it on) make you happier than having a bigger cable package would? Figure that out and I think you'll have your answer.

Also, try not to base your entire decision on how good or bad Savers alone was; if you're going to upgrade your cable, make sure you'll make the most of what it gives you. Consider other shows, how much time you spend actually watching TV, etc. They'll be charging you for a lot more than just Data Squad, regardless how many programs or channels you watch.

Unless you're severely discontent with your current package, I wouldn't bother.

Well Data Squad wasn't the only reason I was going to try to upgrade, but if I get a job I won't have much time for television anyways. So yeah I think I'll just use youtube or some other way to watch it on the internet.

Television is a rip off. Considering you'll only be able to watch tv about 4 hours at most a day, just to pay for it.
Plus, there's not always something you want to watch on.
However, the shows provided by fans on the interwebs r fwee.

Just watch it online, along with any other shows you might be looking for. Much cheaper.
Download the episodes before you take your woman out, watch them once you get home. Simple.

Just watch 'em on Youtube. I did for all the other seasons, twice I might add.

I think you mean Dawn, and my girlfriend doesn't like Digimon, well actually she hates it and tells all her friends that I'm immature... Bitch. I mean!, Ah forget the last part.  I tell embarrassing things on here so were even ( I am not embarrased to be a Digimon fan though).

Anyway back on topic. Youtube and Data Squad for the win!

It's useless. I would rather watch fansubs, but I do have Toon Disney and I occasionally like to watch the Tamers dub. And Pinky and the Brain is my little cousin's favorite show. It's really annoying. They neglect Digimon, their best show. No, it isn't worth it.

I don't watch anything dubbed anymore. My my initial reaction is no. Plus, people will be uploading Savers dubs hours after the premiere.

[Devil's Advocate]

I think people should at least try to support the dub, and watch it legally.

Remember, they don't watch how many views on Youtube  they have or how much episodes had been [illegally] downloaded, they check the ratings. Let's try and support the dub (even if some of us don't like it), so we can at least get a sixth series.

But yeah, some people have legit reasons for needing Youtube... But everyone should keep this in mind please.

I agree with Sakuya [Who I haven't seen active in quite some time here]- if you have Toon Disney, watch it when it airs, since you have the option.
I only plan on watching it online because I don't have cable at my house, and have to save money for more important things than cable.
